All of Safe Glow’s™ Exit Signs are certified to meet UL 924 standards. This ensures that your Fire Marshall will approve Safe Glow™ exit signs wherever lit exit signs are required in your building. This includes both high and low mounted signs.

It is critical that they are used in accordance with those guidelines for which they have been approved. UL 924 has established the following usage guidelines:

MINIMUM 5 FOOT-CANDLE EXTERNAL UNFILTERED FLUORESCENT ILLUMINATION MUST BE PRESENT ON THE SIGN FACE AT ALL TIMES OF BUILDING OCCUPANCY.

Professional Interiors Line UL 924 Certification
Safe Glow’s™ Professional Interior Exit Signs are UL listed to meet UL 924 standards. The Safe Glow™ Underwriters Laboratories certification number is:  35JS. Professional Interior Exit Signs have 6” letters and are certified to have a viewing distance of 50 feet. Professional Interior Exit signs with 8” letters are available upon request.

Economy Line Certification UL 924 Certification
Safe Glow’s™ Economy Exit Signs are ETL listed to meet UL 924 standards. Our Economy Exit signs have 8” letters and have a viewing distance of either 50 or 75 feet.

Safe Glow™ Exit Signs meet 2007 California Building Codes, Title 24 egress marking requirements.
