When fire strikes, smoke can quickly fill hallways making egress difficult, and increasing the odds of panic. Smoke rises to the ceilings, and reduces or completely blocks out the emergency lighting that was expected to light their path. Smoke also forces evacuees to their hands and knees in order to find breathable air.

Safe Glow™ has developed a full line of products to assist those exiting under these difficult conditions. These products were designed to direct evacuees to the closest point of egress and provide confidence that they are on the correct path to exit the building in the safest manner. Although Safe Glow™ Exit Signs are not shown in this section, they are certified by UL to meet the needs of both high and low-level installations.
